We are committed to offering evidence-based housing following the Clubhouse Model, believing that community itself acts as therapy. A nurturing and supportive environment, combined with restorative practices, scientific approaches, and peer support, can help members reshape their minds and successfully reintegrate into society.
Program Overview
To provide evidence-based mental health housing that implements restorative practices, science, and evidence-based practices to rewire the brain and reduce the rate of recidivism in Douglas County and the State of Nebraska.
We are committed to offering evidence-based housing following the Clubhouse Model, believing that community itself acts as therapy. A nurturing and supportive environment, combined with restorative practices, scientific approaches, and peer support, can help members reshape their minds and successfully reintegrate into society.
Goals and Objectives
- To create an environment that is supportive for the members.
- Use restorative practices at the house to support emotional regulation.
- Offer a safe, sober setting for members returning to society.
- Create a housing model grounded in evidence-based practices to facilitate members’ successful reintegration into their home environments.
- All members will be involved in the success of other members and the creation of a productive environment.
- To have as many of the members needs met in-house and assisted by staff as possible to mitigate additional trauma and anxiety over and above that which is caused by the transition itself.
- AE: Transportation, Job Placement, Assistance with learning trades for those who qualify and more.
- We will also work with families and/or children to help them through the transition process starting before potential release.
